Closure Of The Tpl Printing Works, Hartlebury

That this House is concerned that TPL of Hartlebury is closing its printing works without any meaningful consultation with the workforce; is disappointed that the company refuses to consider a management buy-out that would have saved jobs; urges the parent company, Times Publishing Ltd of Singapore, now to help to manage the closure in as decent a way as possible; and hopes that the workers, most of whom are members of the GPMU, will be given redundancy that is fitting for the service that they have given the company.
