Eu Referendum
EDM number 1028 in 2003-04, proposed by Kate Hoey on 21/04/2004.
That this House welcomes the Government's decision to hold a referendum on the proposed EU constitution; believes that due to the wide ranging changes that the constitution could introduce it was imperative that the people of this country had a chance to vote on it; hopes that the referendum campaign will not be distorted into a question of the UK's continued membership of the EU; and looks forward to an open and honest debate.
This motion has been signed by a total of 42 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
