Arthritis Awareness Week

EDM number 964 in 2002-03, proposed by Liam Fox on 26/03/2003.

That this House notes that Arthritis Awareness Week begins on 21st April; recognises the very real suffering that arthritis causes for many thousands of people around the United Kingdom; praises the work of all those who care for people who suffer from arthritis; and calls on the Government to recognise the very real impact that arthritis has on the lives of those affected by it and to ensure that treatment of arthritis is given a proper clinical priority in the National Health Service.
