Local Pharmacy Services
EDM number 929 in 2002-03, proposed by David Crausby on 20/03/2003.
That this House recognises the importance of access to vital local pharmacy services for patients without transport, the elderly and disabled; and calls on the Government to evaluate extensively the Office of Fair Trading recommendations to abolish entry controls in the pharmacy sector in order to ensure that they do not lead to the decline of this particular community service and the eventual closure of many community pharmacies.
This motion has been signed by a total of 106 MPs.
