That this House notes with concern the proposed closure of Barmouth Road Post Office which is in the centre of a residential area where many people such as the elderly, disabled persons and parents with young children use the essential services it provides for the payment of their benefits; further notes that should this post office close contrary to the wishes of the local community it will cause very real difficulties for many local people; and calls on the Post Office to listen to the views expressed by the community before any final decision is made as to its future.
