Manufacturing Industry In Northern Ireland

EDM number 861 in 2002-03, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 10/03/2003.

That this House recognises the continuing difficulties encountered by the manufacturing industry in Northern Ireland, which has resulted in hundreds of people facing unemployment within the past few weeks; and calls upon Invest Northern Ireland as the body responsible for job creation to begin immediately the task of announcing their plans to replace these significant job losses with sustainable employment prospects for Northern Ireland's available workforce.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
