The Importance Of The Role Of Sport In Promoting Health, Education And Social Inclusion

That this House recognises and shares the Prime Minister's belief in the role that sport plays in promoting health, education and social cohesion and helping to combat anti-social behaviour; commends the national governing bodies of sport and their clubs for promoting social inclusion as highlighted in the CCPR strategy, Everybody Wins; and calls for greater resources for the governing bodies of sport and their clubs to help achieve the Government's objectives.
