Independent Public Enquiry Into La Mon House Hotel Bombing

EDM number 775 in 2002-03, proposed by Iris Robinson on 25/02/2003.

That this House calls on the Government to announce an independent public inquiry into the bombing of the La Mon House hotel which was carried out 25 years ago by the Provisional IRA on Friday 17th February 1978; believes that it is right and proper that this crime against humanity is fully investigated and the whole truth made known; remembers with deepest respect the 12 innocent people brutally murdered and the numerous physically and mentally injured that evening by the IRA; and believes the best way to stem the pain and show that the suffering was not in vain is to have an inquiry initiated.

This motion has been signed by a total of 29 MPs.
