Impact Of The Euro

That this House recognises the growing use of euro accounts and the euro currency by business in Scotland and by businesses throughout the United Kingdom; is also aware of the present markets and potential markets for Scottish and United Kingdom products and services in the Euro Zone which is soon to grow even greater with the enlargement of the European Union and the Euro Zone; looks forward to a positive outcome of the application of the five economic tests set by the Government which will allow Scotland and the United Kingdom to take advantage of the benefits of membership of the Euro Zone; and calls on the Government to ensure that all enterprises are aware of the scope of the markets available to them in the Euro Zone.
