ITV And Michael Jackson
EDM number 688 in 2002-03, proposed by David Amess on 06/02/2003.
That this House, whilst recognising that Michael Jackson undoubtedly had a traumatic and somewhat unique upbringing, maintains that some of his actions as shown during the recent ITV interview should be condemned in the strongest terms; does not believe that such views and practices should have been given airtime and condemns ITV for doing so; and further believes that, having decided to go ahead and broadcast the programme, ITV should have clearly stated that they did not condone his views or actions.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
