That this House notes that 18 Labour honourable Members, including the honourable Members for West Ham, Bishop Auckland, Leeds North East, Hull North, Blaydon, Ealing North, Portsmouth North and Glasgow Baillieston, signed EDM 226 in the 2001-02 session supporting the democratic principle that any revised Second Chamber of Parliament should be wholly or substantially elected and yet voted for a wholly appointed House of Lords on 4th February.
