B.a.a. In The South East
EDM number 649 in 2002-03, proposed by Graham Stringer on 04/02/2003.
That this House believes that the recent announcement of the underlying profits for the last nine months of ú446 million is one indication that British Airports Authority is a monopoly and acts as a monopoly in the South East of England; and therefore calls on the competition authorities to carry out an investigation with a view to ending this monopoly by creating three separate companies based on Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
