Londonderry
EDM number 641 in 2002-03, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 03/02/2003.
That this House supports the retention of the historic and traditional name of the City of Londonderry; deplores the recent decision by the City Council to begin the process of attempting to delete the 'London' part of the name; and further calls upon the Secretary of State to resist this move given the plight of the Unionist community in Londonderry since the last Council name change in 1984.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
