LAUNCH OF IT'S MY LIFE VIDEO

That this House notes that innumerable lives are scarred by physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse; welcomes the launch of the video produced by the Welsh Trust for the Prevention of Abuse and funded by the Community Fund and HSBC called 'It's My Life', a bi-lingual video aimed at primary schools throughout Wales; and endorses the aims of the Trust to prevent paedophiles infiltrating the child care system by a strong and reliable vetting procedure, to prevent children from physical and sexual abuse, to include within its remit protection for the elderly and those with learning difficulties and to raise awareness amongst children and young people of the dangers of abuse.
