World Cup Cricket Matches In Zimbabwe
EDM number 458 in 2002-03, proposed by Derek Wyatt on 07/01/2003.
That this House notes that it is still the intention of the ICC to go ahead with the World Cup cricket matches in Zimbabwe; calls on them to re-schedule the games in Kenya or South Africa; suggests that the ECB takes note of every poll across the UK media which has overwhelmingly voted against England's participation in Zimbabwe; and further calls on the broadcasters and sponsors of these games to withdraw their support immediately.
This motion has been signed by a total of 112 MPs.
