Banff And Buchan Scouts

That this House sends its best wishes to those from Banff and Buchan among the 30,000-strong contingent taking part in the 20th World Scout Jamboree in Thailand this month; commends the fundraising efforts undertaken by the Banff and Buchan Scouts during the past 18 months to meet their costs; recognises the contribution that the scout movement makes in broadening the horizons of its members and the teaching of life skills; and welcomes this international meeting of cultures which will foster a greater understanding and knowledge of other traditions and societies across the world.
