leave out from 'to' to the end and insert, 'reaffirm the establishment of the Church of England which continues to embody the interconnections of church-state relationships which have been a feature of English life since the sixth century; acknowledges the representative role to which the Church of England is increasingly sensitive as it speaks on behalf of all the churches and other faith communities; recognises the role of the Church and the significance of Christian faith in the evolution of the English people over more than fourteen hundred years and the Church's commitment to the nation - its history, its institutions, its communities, its relationships and its future; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to make it its policy not to seek disestablishment of the Church of England.
