BARNARDO'S POVERTY WRECKS FUTURES SILVER SPOON CAMPAIGN
EDM number 1922 in 2002-03, proposed by Tom Brake on 13/11/2003.
That this House takes note of Barnardo's valiant efforts to highlight the scourge of child poverty that plagues almost one in three children in the United Kingdom; further notes the distressing photos used in their campaign; and hopes that the shock tactics will not detract from Barnardo's valuable work and will not cause offence to the millions of people who value Barnardo's goals.
