Distribution Price Review - Meeting The Needs Of The Nation

That this House welcomes the Amicus-hosted conference on the Distribution Price Review 2005; notes the serious issues of national significance that the event dealt with; and calls for the outcome of the Distribution price Review 2005 to reward distribution network operators who policy objectives include increased investment in the network system, increased productivity of their employees through personal development programmes, the maintenance of a direct labour force and an ethos of making a reasonable profit whilst giving value for money, security and quality supply to the consumer.
