Ericsson In Warrington

EDM number 187 in 2002-03, proposed by Helen Jones on 25/11/2002.

That this House deplores the decision by Ericsson to close down its operatin in Warrington and to concentrate its workforce in the South of England; believes that high-tech, well-paid jobs are essential to the North West economy; and believes that if Ericsson has no faith in the region, North West consumers should demonstrate their lack of faith in Ericsson products.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
