R.j. Mitchell School
EDM number 1753 in 2002-03, proposed by John Cryer on 15/10/2003.
That this House notes with deep concern the attempt by the London Borough of Havering to close the R.J. Mitchell Primary School; further notes the school's rapidly improving performance and reputation; further notes that numbers at the school are almost certain to rise within six years; and calls on the local authority to reverse its decision to keep open a much loved school for future generations of schoolchildren.
This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
