Child Internet Pornography

EDM number 1748 in 2002-03, proposed by Jimmy Wray on 15/10/2003.

That this House is disturbed by reports from Interpol that live child pornography sessions could be made available on pay-per-view websites; is further concerned about the use of virtual child pornography using sophisticated imaging techniques; believes that the use of the internet in this way is disgusting and could serve to encourage paedophiles to go out and abuse children; and urges the Government to do everything it can to introduce legislation on an international level to prevent sites such as these emerging and imprison those who create and use them.

This motion has been signed by a total of 40 MPs.
