London And Fringe Areas Allowance For Local Government

EDM number 1720 in 2002-03, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 14/10/2003.

That this House recognises the very high cost of living in London and the fringe areas; and therefore calls upon the local authority employers to respond positively and urgently to the joint claim submitted by UNISON, T&GWU and GMB in July 2001 for the very modest claim of ú4,000 across the board.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
