Hunting With Dogs In Scotland;amdt. Line 1:

EDM number 168A1 in 2002-03, proposed by Iain Luke on 21/11/2002.

leave out from 'dogs' to end and add 'was made illegal in Scotland following the passage of the Protection of Wild Mammals (Scotland) Act 2002; notes in particular that it is now illegal in Scotland deliberately to chase or kill a wild mammal with a dog; welcomes the decision of the Berwickshire Hunt to commence hunting after an artificial scent with bloodhounds; notes that MSPs wished to ensure that the Act did not prevent farmers from killing rogue foxes on their land; and understands that, with care, it is possible to kill humanely; but condemns anyone who knowingly inflicts an inhumane death for sport.'

This is a ammendment to 168.
