Victoria Baths, Manchester And The Restoration Television Series

That this House is delighted that Victoria Baths, Manchester emerged as the winner of the BBC Restoration television series; applauds the tireless work of the members of the Victoria Baths Trust and especially of Gill Wright over recent years; recognises that the restoration of these extraordinary public baths has struck a strong chord with people throughout the country; and believes that the re-opened baths will take its place not only within the architectural history of the country but will provide a useful and popular leisure facility.
