Victim Support
EDM number 1598 in 2002-03, proposed by Kerry Pollard on 16/07/2003.
That this House recognises the valuable work done by victim support schemes across the country; notes that the after effects of having been a victim of crime are often far worse that the crime itself; is concerned that some victim support schemes have made support workers redundant; and calls upon the Government to increase funding to the National Association of Victim Support Schemes to ensure that every victim of crime has a support worker if they need one.
This motion has been signed by a total of 57 MPs.
