Fbu Proposals For Fire Service Modernisation

EDM number 151 in 2002-03, proposed by John McDonnell on 19/11/2002.

That this House welcomes the proposals put forward by the Fire Brigades Union on 19th November for the modernisation of the Fire Service; and notes that this modernisation programme would produce significant savings to the UK economy and provide the basis for the settlement of the current fire service dispute.
