Anti-Semitism And Satellite T.v.

EDM number 1435 in 2002-03, proposed by Bob Spink on 18/06/2003.

That this House notes the recent Spectator article 'Television creates Terrorists' which highlights a clear link between vicious anti-semitism in the Middle East media and the indoctrination of race-hatred in Britain; is deeply concerned that two recent terrorist bombers, thought to have been influenced by Middle East satellite TV anti-semitism, were UK citizens; deplores the incitement of racial hatred against any ethnic group; and calls on the Government to take action to prevent materials likely to incite race-hatred being available in the UK via any form of media including satellite TV.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
