Polish Referendum Result

That this House notes the results of this weekend's Polish referendum on joining the European Union, which delivered a resounding and unambiguous 78 per cent. Yes vote; notes that the people of Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Malta have clearly shown that they see the benefits of membership of the EU even if the British eurosceptics cannot; and looks forward to forging ever closer political and economic ties with the government and people of Poland through our membership of the EU.
