Closure Of Lloyds Tsb Branch Culcheth
EDM number 1325 in 2002-03, proposed by Helen Jones on 04/06/2003.
That this House deplores the decision of Lloyds TSB to close their Culcheth branch branch despite it being profitable; believes that the reasons given by the bank for the closure do not stand up to close scrutiny; notes that the proposed closure will deny access to banking services to many of the bank's loyal customers in the village; and calls on the company to reconsider.
This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
