Wales Rally Gb

That this House congratulates the Welsh Assembly Government, Welsh Development Agency and the Wales Tourist Board for their endeavours in securing the right for Wales to host the final stage of the World Rally Championship for the next four years; welcomes the prospect that Wales Rally GB will promote and publicise Wales around the world; commends the continuation of Wales's long tradition of hosting world-class rallying; and calls on the Motor Sports Association, Federation Internationale de l'Automobile and International Sportsworld Communicators to ensure that Wales Rally GB is organised as a Wales-wide event with competitive stages of the rally taking place across the length and breadth of the country, to enable the economic benefits of this event to be enjoyed throughout Wales.
