SCOTLAND'S FIRST MINISTER;Amdt. line 1:

EDM number 1231A1 in 2002-03, proposed by Pete Wishart on 20/05/2003.

leave out all from 'House' to end and add 'notes the re-election of Jack McConnell as Scotland's First Minister, who led the Scottish New Labour campaign to its worst ever result in Scotland since 1931; notes that Scottish New Labour managed to lose six of its first past the post seats, three to the Scottish National Party, including seats in the cities of Aberdeen and Dundee; notes that the Scottish National Party secured its third ever highest share of the poll resulting in nine first past the post MSP's; and looks forward to the Westminster election where if this result is replicated would mean several honourable Labour members joining their colleagues made redundant in the boundary review.'.

This is a ammendment to 1231.

This motion has been signed by a total of 4 MPs.
