Educational Achievements In Southend-On-sea

That this House notes with interest the table published in the Sunday Times showing the achievements in A Level and GCSE exams in the top 500 secondary schools in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; further notes that Southend-on-Sea has four of its secondary schools within the top 100 schools and that each of these four schools has improved its performance substantially in the national league tables; and offers its congratulations to the staff and pupils at the Westcliff High School for Girls, the Southend High School for Girls, the Westcliff High School for Boys and the Southend High School for Boys and to the Local Education Authority of the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.
