Proposed Merger Between Bristol Shoguns And Bath Rugby
EDM number 1168 in 2002-03, proposed by David Drew on 08/05/2003.
That this House expresses concern at the proposed merger between Bristol Shoguns and Bath Rugby given that it is against the expressed wishes of supporters of both clubs; and is disappointed that rugby seems to be following in the footsteps of football with clubs becoming a personal tool of the owner for disposal as appropriate.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
