Sussex Lowland Search And Rescue Team

That this House congratulates the Sussex Lowland Search and Rescue Team on its first successful find of a missing person; recognises that the Sussex team is one of a growing number of volunteer lowland search teams being established across the country; notes that the team members have undergone extensive training to national and international standards since being established in 2002; notes further that the team has been called out in support of Sussex Police and neighbouring police forces on a number of occasions, making valuable contributions to search efforts and the preservation of life; and applauds the outstanding efforts of all the volunteers involved.
