Football Kit For South Africa

That this House congratulates BBC Radio Five Live for the Five Live Shirt Amnesty which will see football shirts and kit donated by fans in the United Kingdom taken to South Africa prior to England's game on 22nd May for presentation to many people who love the game of football but lack the kit; and urges all Right honourable and honourable Members to involve themselves in the initiative and to contact football clubs at all levels in their constituencies to ensure that they participate in this most worthy of endeavours which will prove that football can extent the hand of friendship across the world.
