Future Local Elections And Parliamentary Sittings

EDM number 1115 in 2002-03, proposed by Jeff Ennis on 30/04/2003.

That this House shall not sit on future local government regional assembly and Scottish Parliament election days so that all honourable Members can participate fully in the local democratic process; and recognises the positive message that this will send out in terms of the electorate being encouraged to participate in elections at every level.
