Massacre At Nadimarg
EDM number 1110 in 2002-03, proposed by Harry Barnes on 29/04/2003.
That this House is deeply shocked by the massacre at Nadimarg in Kashmir on the night of 23rd to 24th March when 24 people, including 11 women and two children were lined up and shot dead; welcomes the fact that both the Governments of Pakistan and India have condemned the killings; but is concerned that the two governments have directed the blame to differing groups; and believes that Amnesty International should conduct an investigation into the massacre as proposed by the Government of Pakistan.
