Iraqs Archaeological Heritage

That this House is deeply concerned about the future of Iraq's archaeological heritage; is appalled at the sacking of the National Museum in Baghdad; expresses its solidarity with museums and archaeology professionals in Iraq and the UK in their efforts to protect the ancient artefacts and sites of Iraq; and calls on the UK and international authorities to ensure that any cultural objects looted from Iraq are not sold to private collectors but returned to museums in Iraq.
