Southend On Sea Unitary Authority

EDM number 1045 in 2002-03, proposed by David Amess on 09/04/2003.

That this House congratulates Southend on Sea Unitary Authority which provides excellent services at a relatively low council tax; compares this with Castle Point Borough Council which provides a poorer service at an average of ú400 per year more for a band D home; and calls on the Government to meet in full the additional employment costs faced by all schools in Essex this year.

This motion has been signed by a total of 2 MPs.
