That this House welcomes the Radio Authority announcement of the potential to make FM frequencies available in the Thames Gateway; congratulates Estuary FM on its campaign for a local radio service for South-East Essex; acknowledges the gap in services that will be left in South-East Essex when Essex FM and Classical Gold digital Breeze move their studio centre from the area; recognises the importance of local radio across all areas of the community and business world; and calls on the Government to facilitate a radio licence for the Thames Gateway South-East Essex area.
