Road Fuel Gases

EDM number 1026 in 2002-03, proposed by HELEN CLARK on 08/04/2003.

That this House congratulates the Royal Household on its continued use of Autogas, an environmentally preferable road fuel gas; notes the considerable impact that increasing use of road fuel gases has had and will have on improving air quality; congratulates successive governments on their fiscal support for road fuel gases; and urges the Chancellor of the Exchequer to continue with that support so that the UK can benefit fully from the clear environment advantages that have already been achieved in many other countries.
