That this House proudly observes Commonwealth Day on Monday 11th March; celebrates the diversity which is the chief strength of the modern Commonwealth; acknowledges the work of the United Kingdom branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in strengthening the links binding together the Commonwealth's diverse family and in sharing experiences in the field of democracy; and notes with pleasure the branch's special conference to mark Her Majesty The Queen's 50 years as Head of the Commonwealth.
