ST GEORGE'S DAY CELEBRATIONS IN LONDON

That this House condemns the decision of Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London, to allocate Ãº100,000 to celebrate St Patrick's Day after refusing to organise a celebration for St George's Day; and calls on the Mayor of London to establish parity of esteem for Englishmen and women by allocating an equal amount of Ãº100,000 for Londoners to celebrate St George's Day on 23rd April.
