Gm Crop Contamination

EDM number 935 in 2001-02, proposed by Geraint Davies on 05/03/2002.

That this House believes that a seed cannot be classified as non-genetically modified unless the level of accidental GM contamination is less than that level which is currently technologically detectable, that is at most 0.1 per cent. instead of 1 per cent.; and further believes that separation distances between GM and non-GM crops should be increased accordingly.

This motion has been signed by a total of 46 MPs.
