Dearne Valley Pension Centre

That this House congratulates the Department for Work and Pensions on its decision to site the new pensions centre for Yorkshire and the Humber in the Dearne Valley in the heart of the former South Yorkshire coalfield; welcomes the 400 jobs that will be transferred and created by the new centre; and calls upon all other Government departments who are establishing new sub-regional, regional or national offices to consider locating their premises in the South Yorkshire coalfield area in order to facilitate this deprived area's successful regeneration.
