Police In Northern Ireland
EDM number 834 in 2001-02, proposed by Ian Paisley on 11/02/2002.
That this House recognises the chronic under-funding of the police in Northern Ireland; notes with concern the more than ú40 million deficit in the current financial year, which is likely to more than double in the next financial year; and calls upon the Secretary of State to immediately allocate sufficient resources that will allow the police to discharge their duty in an efficient manner.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
