Bloody Sunday Inquiry
EDM number 673 in 2001-02, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 16/01/2002.
That this House notes the spiralling costs of the 'Bloody Sunday' Inquiry; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to hold a more wide-ranging Inquiry into the series of atrocities carried out by the Provisional IRA and other paramilitary groups across Northern Ireland during that time, which should include the part played in those campaigns of murder and destruction by senior members of Sinn Fein, including those who have confirmed their involvement in the Provisional IRA at the time of 'Bloody Sunday'.
