Pedestrian Friendly Vehicles
EDM number 62 in 2001-02, proposed by Paul Flynn on 02/07/2001.
That this House notes the European Safety Council's claim that 2,000 lives could be saved annually and 18,000 serious injuries avoided by more pedestrian-friendly car fronts; and urges the Government to renew their efforts to ban the macho fashion accessories of bull bars that concentrate and multiply the force of collisions at the level of a child's head and vital organs.
This motion has been signed by a total of 84 MPs.
