Playing Fields Six Acre Standard

That this House welcomes the revised publication of the National Playing Fields Association's Six Acre Standard, making clear and useful recommendations on the quantity and quality of land needed by local communities for sport, play and recreation; and calls on the Government to give clear reference and support to these recommendations in its forthcoming review of planning guidance on sport, open space and recreation (PPG17).
